LEDs

We use high-performance ultra-bright LEDs from the world’s leading manufacturer – CREE.

What depends on the LED?

Lamp brightness.

Comparing the products of Russian manufacturers, we are often surprised that the luminous flux from lights of the same size can differ by 2 or 3 times.

LEDs of different types give off a luminous flux with different intensities Per 1 W of input power. We use modern ultra bright CREE J-Series 2835 LEDs of 167 Lm/W. A few years ago, these figures were considered unattainable, and such LEDs were incredibly expensive.

When our specialist draft a lighting calculation, the number of lights often decreases 1.3-1.5 times without loss of lighting level.

Light longevity.

The LED lifetime depends on the quality of LED design, crystal size, phosphor coating quality, and LED housing quality. While manufacturers provide 30,000 hours of warranty for most LEDs, the minimum lifetime of the CREE J-Series 2835 is 50,000 hours of operation.

Light flux aesthetics.

There is another important parameter – LED color uniformity. LEDs production is a very complex technological process. Even in one batch, the qualitative characteristics of color and luminous flux may differ.

This effect is especially noticeable on the LED strip where cheap LEDs are used. It can be seen that some LEDs have a redder hue, while others have a bluer one. Such solutions are only valid for rooms where the lighting quality is not important – for underground parking lots or emergency exits.

To solve this problem, the manufacturer uses the method of sorting LEDs with the same characteristics.

In the LEDs we use, the level of color uniformity is 3 MacAdam steps, this is a very high characteristic that guarantees high aesthetics of the lights we produce.
